John Carter is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Christian Center, a multiethnic community of worshippers in Syracuse, New York.

He also ministers internationally, speaking at church and leadership conferences throughout India, Africa, Eastern Europe, and North America.

John earned his Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary at Nyack College.

John is also the Founder and President of Mercy Works, a charitable organization that creatively meets the practical needs of distressed urban communities.
